Sysadmin Network, Ning, and third party apps

I noticed the other day that Hootsuite, and Seesmic Desktop 2 both had support for Ning sites.  Has anybody managed to get this to work with Sysadmin Network? Hootsuite just throws a general error, Seesmic mentions something about oauth_consumer_key is unknown. I'd love to get either working, would reduce the number of sites I have to go to :)
