Address Denied Issue & Solution

Whilst working on our Navision Upgrade today I came across an error indicating that we couldn't start the Web Services on our server due to a permissions error (HTTP could not register URL).


A short GoogleFu later and I discovered it was caused by the new method of elevating an account to administrator status, it doesn't happen when you run a service.

Virtualisation - Where we are

This is the second part of my look in to virtualisation, its taken a while to get here as life got in the way.


Looking through System Center Virtual Machine Manager right now I can see we currently have 16 Hyper-V powered virtual servers in production, with a hand ful of other VM's going through testing to reach production.
