Yeah, I'm a Linux noob for sure. I just knew that I didn't want to be unilingual in the OS world. I mean, I was okay with Macs from supporting about 30 or 40 of them in a Windows domain, but nothing big. I jumped to Fedora earlier this year and I'm on it for everything except a few essentials that are non-Linux. QuickBooks, Quicken, TurboTax, Office (I heart Outlook) and Steam (TF2 FTW!!). I really don't know enough to know the difference between RPMs, DEBs and the like.

 

Oddly, I too used to much prefer KDE to Gnome... and now all of a sudden I much prefer Gnome. Although, I haven't touched the Gnome shell. From the likes of it, I'm just a little bit scared. =)

 

Anyway, back to the bit mines.
