Mailscape Version 4.5 released

After being part of the beta program for Mailscape 4.5 and after using Mailscape 4.4 for over a year now, I think that it is time hat a lot people know about the product.

Beside very powerful monitoring functions for Exchange servers the software provides the possibility to monitor any Windows service you like. Additionally Mailscape is capable of monitoring SMTP queue folders on the local harddisks of SMTP 3rd party relay servers. The use of monitoring policies makes it really easy to apply the same set of configurations to many servers. Blackberry Enterprise Servers are monitored, too.

The Monitoring Dashboard, using the colors of a signal light, makes it easy for members of the helpdesk staff to check the status of the communication infrastruce when a user complains about delayed messages.

The development of Mailscape is driven by Exchange administrators which results in a product which is not only easy to use, but easy to install and to be upgraded, too. The ease-of-use when upgrading a large number of local monitoring agents in the infrastructure is a blast.
