Worst: Unexpected silence in the server room, followed by someone saying "Has anyone got a torch?"

LOL. How about silence in the server room followed by Bill Lumberg's "Yeahhh, we're gonna need you to come in on Saturday..."

Bad (but not quite as bad as the silence in the server room): the weekly fire alarm test while you're on the phone to someone...

An F15 buzzing the valley where you *were* in the middle of mapping Golden Eagle territories.

No doubt. I've not been mapping Golden Eagle territories but the F-16s always seem to fly over head when I'm the phone.

Our global helpdesk's hold music... it rates the top three things you don't want to hear.
Not in order:
1) Its HIDEOUS!!!
2) It means the Helpdesk is swamped.
3) or, they have to have a quick huddle to resolve our issue...

Mix and match.

Worst Sound: The alarm system from the server room that suggests the air conditioning has gone from producing cool air to producing large volumes of liquid

Hhhmm, the list of ten best things seems to be completely filled with your favorite music, personally I would find that annoying.
